How The Warehouse Works

The Wheelchair Warehouse provides free loans of durable medical equipment to residents of Whatcom and Skagit Counties. Available items include wheelchairs, walkers, crutches, canes, and a variety of bedside and bathroom supports.

The warehouse operates entirely on donated equipment, and donations are gladly accepted at any time. If you have clean, unused medical equipment, your gift will support many neighbors for years to come. Donation receipts are available. We also welcome cash, check, or credit‑card contributions to help maintain and repair the equipment we loan out.

Loan Terms:

    • Open to everyone…:
    • No fees but financial donations welcome

    • The standard loan period is three months, with extensions available when needed

Items we cannot accept:

  • Large items such as hospital beds and lift chairs, as well as personal medical gear (knee braces, boots, etc.). These are best offered on Craigslist, eBay, Facebook Marketplace, or local buy/sell groups.
