Our Core Programs
Frank Haskell Eye Clinic
The Frank Haskell Lions Eye Clinic is operated by Bellingham Central Lions. The Clinic provides free eye examinations and glasses for qualified low-income persons who complete an application and can meet the income requirements.
Hearing Program
The Bellingham Central Lions Club in partnership with the Lions Foundation Hearing Program provide an opportunity for individuals in Bellingham to be able to hear and enjoy life to the fullest.
Al Boe Wheelchair Warehouse
The Wheelchair Warehouse loans durable medical equipment to folks in Whatcom and Skagit Counties. Equipment loaned includes wheelchairs, walkers, crutches, canes, and bedside and bathroom helpers of all kinds.
Civic Field Concessions
The dollars that our Lions Club raises from sales at the Concession Stand go to fund many of the programs that support community projects, free eye glasses, serving the homeless, low income, disabled, elderly and youth in Whatcom and Skagit county communities.
Lions Books for Kids
Bellingham Central Lions have kicked off a new project called “Lions Books for Kids”. The intent of this project is to improve the reading and comprehension skills of children in Whatcom County.
Community Programs
Supports people in need of minor medical assistance such as Low Vision readers and a myriad of minor procedures.
